One record, three phases

The Atlas commitment stays connected

Prepare one Atlas recommendation, keep its client context during focused work, then see the resulting billable value—without rebuilding the record between tools.

Plan

Commit to the right client outcome

A deliberately short daily plan combines available capacity, calendar constraints, and the next Atlas advisory outcome.

Work

Execute with the context intact

The same task opens in focus with its client, project, and rate relationship already attached.

Earn

See billable progress honestly

Tracked time becomes visible billable value while remaining clearly separate from invoicing or payment.

2.0h × €130 = €260 · not yet invoiced

Everything else supports the loop

Capacity, client context, and back-office records stay close enough to support the work—without pulling attention away from today's next valuable move.

Capacity and calendar

Energy, carry-over work, and calendar constraints shape the daily commitment.

Time and invoicing

Timesheets retain project rates and can move into invoice preparation and export.

Client context

Contacts, companies, activities, and projects stay available around the work record.

Notes and learning

Documents, notes, and reading sessions support delivery without competing with the core loop.

Where Upflow fits

One operating loop, instead of scattered handoffs

Specialist tools can each do one job well. Upflow's role is to keep the daily decision, the work session, and the billable record connected.

Daily planning tools

Help decide what to do today.

Planning can remain separate from client rates, time, and revenue.

Freelancer business tools

Organize projects, clients, invoices, or time.

Business records may not shape the daily focus decision.

A multi-app workflow

Use specialist tools for each job.

You maintain the links between plans, timers, projects, and financial records.

Upflow's position

Connect Plan → Work → Earn in one operating loop.

Designed first for an independent consultant's daily decisions.
